The Little Princess Trust

Our Chosen Charity

Hannah Tarplee was a beautiful little Herefordshire girl and the original Little Princess. Following her Wilms Tumor diagnosis and a brave battle, she eventually died in June 2005 just 5 years of age.

After Hannah died so many people offered both financial and practical help. Her parents, Wendy & Simon decided that the most fitting way to use this help was to launch a charity, The Little Princess Trust, dedicated to providing specialist children’s wigs.  Like so many Little Princesses, Hannah loved her hair and losing it was very traumatic.

This charity is very special to us, not only are we parents’ ourselves, it is also close to the hearts of staff members. Therefore The Little Princess Trust is the natural choice to be our nominated charity.

Since its’ inception Little Princess Trust has given away over 1300 wigs to children free of charge and with the average wig costing £350, and no formal funding, all of the fundraising is gratefully received by this very worthy cause.

‘’We are excited that Henryka have generously designed and created this beautiful range of jewelry, we are thrilled it is so popular!’’  Wendy Tarplee-Morris

Henryka’s role

We are playing our small part in helping LPT give away more wigs.  We have held a raffle and we have donated a percentage of sales from several special collection launch evenings held at our store.

But we wanted to do more and so, in June 2012, we launched our own EXCLUSIVE range of Little Princess Trust jewelry.

The design of this charity collection was based on the Little Princess Trust’s logo – a BUTTERFLY.

We have created a beautiful collection of silver and amber Earrings, Necklaces, Brooches & Pins which are exclusive to Henryka.  ALL profits from the sale of this jewelry is being donated to the charity.   Check out The Little Princess Trust Range here.
